The history of editing

The first film to ever to be created was in 1888 and the short film was called Round hay Garden. The director of the film was called inventor Louis Le Prince first ever film director. The camera used was recording in motion picture. There was no colour or audio in it. So they decided to add in music as its replacement. This movie is important because if it not were for these movies wouldn’t even exist to present-day which is a great source of entertainment. TV shows wouldn’t have been made not even TV it’s self a lot of the media started off just from one movie making something so much bigger and creating so many things which we have to day. Which are cinemas, TV, phones and computers all of these things most of the human population uses to day. That’s why it’s important it keeps us all connected with each other as human beings.

How scenes were cut before the digital age?  Of course this was the editors job role if there was a specific scenes that the director didn’t want in the movie the director would simply ask for the to cut it out of the movie. To some people editing is everything when it comes to a movie. This would because of reason such of an character failing to give the right dialog.an editor can simply cut out scenes and retry it again as many times that it is needed. Editing a movie can make look really professional and makes the film look flawless. How editors use to cut scenes out of a movie was to cut spate shots then putting them together could in fact make a story. With the power of editing you can do so much more things. Not can you cut away scenes you can also make a scenes last longer and speed up a scene. But why would you editors do this? It’s simple because it can create intense moments and has a greater impact to the audience then other scenes shown on film. the operator
